As a teacher, Buddy, or Career mentor you will likely encounter a learner with dyslexia. Here are some resources to help you learn more about dyslexia and how you can better support our learners.

Reasonable adjustments when teaching and mentoring

In the UK Dyslexia is classified as a disability under the Equality Act 2010. We have a duty to provide reasonable adjustments for our disabled learners. So they can participate fully in their education and our community.

Dyslexia Awareness Part 1, Microsoft and Made By Dyslexia

This course will provide essential insights into dyslexia, which we believe all educators and parents should have. (1 hour)

Dyslexia Awareness Part 2, Microsoft and Made By Dyslexia

This course will provide an overview of ways teachers can elevate their practice to scaffold support for students in any content area. (1 hour)
