As a teacher, Buddy, or Career mentor you will likely encounter a learner with dyslexia. Here are some resources to help you learn more about dyslexia and how you can better support our learners.
In the UK Dyslexia is classified as a disability under the Equality Act 2010. We have a duty to provide reasonable adjustments for our disabled learners. So they can participate fully in their education and our community.

This course will provide essential insights into dyslexia, which we believe all educators and parents should have. (1 hour)
This course will provide an overview of ways teachers can elevate their practice to scaffold support for students in any content area. (1 hour)
Whenever you complete training please fill out your Learning Log. This allows us to track of the support and development opportunities you have had during your time with us. Please make a local copy of the Learning Log and fill in your details.
